Bankruptcy Law

I represent individuals and business owners in preparing and filing for bankruptcy under Chapter 7, Chapter 11, Chapter 12, and Chapter 13 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. I have over 20 years experience handling bankruptcy matters. I was the Assistant Trustee for U.S. District of Alaska for 13 years and was responsible for making sure that the bankruptcy code was being followed by bankruptcy trustees.

I currently represent both debtors and creditors and have experience working on complicated bankruptcy cases. I also represent attorneys and other individuals in adversary proceedings, including contested matters that arise out of a bankruptcy, including cases of fraudulent or preferential transfers.

Bankruptcy matters are highly complicated and the bankruptcy code is very complex. I have the experience and the knowledge to help with filing for bankruptcy and resolving other bankruptcy matters that may involve individuals or their businesses.

Real Estate Law

I represent clients in real estate matters including the purchase and sale of residential real estate, landlord and tenant matters, and boundary disputes. I assist buyers and sellers with legal services related to residential home closings including reviewing offers, drafting documents, resolving title issues, resolving ownership issues, and recording deeds.
